Hotel Condestable (Benidorm, Spain)

Located in the upscale Eixample neighbourhood, Condestable has a great location near countless restaurants and shops. A short walk will lead you right to Las Rambla, where you can spend your days getting lost in the countess shops and cafes.

The hotel boasts a gorgeous rooftop terrace, which offers comfy lounging areas with delicious cocktails. You’ll get delicious snacks, as you soak in the view of the surrounding buildings, including Gaudi’s la Sagrada Familia Cathedral.

You can expect a visit from housekeeping on a daily basis. They arrive early and clean your room from top to bottom. They also restock your towels with fresh ones daily.

While the windows do offer double-glazing to cancel out the sound, if your room faces the street, you will probably deal with street noise. The walls are also thin, so it’s likely you will hear other guests.

The hotel, which is eight stories high, only has two elevators. Because they are older, one of the two may be out for a long period of time. Both are very small, too, so you may have to wait in line to get in.

Because the reception desk is small, and the hotel can hold many guests, things may get a little crazy during the peak check-in/-out times. You may have to wait in line because of it.
