Hotel Best Western Inn at Penticton (Penticton, Canada)

You’d be forgiven for thinking you were on the coast when staying here due to the surprisingly beautiful lake beach, known as Skaha Lake Beach.

This hotel boasts not one but two on-site swimming pools! One is located inside and one is outdoors meaning you can enjoy a dip in the pool whatever the weather. There is also a hot tub which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the area. For those who like to keep fit there is a small gym too which has a selection of cardio machines. There is a breakfast option available and they serve local produce and a wide selection of items. If you are travelling with children they are sure to enjoy the playground which will keep them occupied for hours.

The rooms are comfortable with good quality linens, a television, fridge and microwave. The housekeeping team do an excellent job of keeping these clean and they show a high level of attention to detail.

This property would benefit from having more plug sockets in more convenient locations in the guestrooms. At the moment it doesn’t quite cater fully for the modern day traveller due to this.

The hotel has chosen to use single use paper plates at breakfast for environmental reasons but some guests have not enjoyed the experience of having to use them.

Guests staying here have been expecting a traditional hotel and have therefore been surprised to discover it is more like a motel design. Another quirk is the fact you have to walk through the exercise area in order to get the breakfast room.
