Staff at Balmule House are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they will do all they can to ensure you are having the best possible stay. It'll feel like a home-from-home experience. They are also on hand to give you useful advice on the best local restaurants and on all of the things to see and do in the area.
The beds are very comfortable and the guestrooms are beautifully presented. The level of cleanliness is outstanding and the general aesthetic is pleasing on the eye. Everything has been tastefully restored and the atmosphere is very relaxing. You should get an excellent night's sleep.
Breakfast here is delicious. It is hearty, cooked-to-order and filling. It will set you up nicely for the day ahead.
There is no bar at Balmule House, as the property does not have a liquor licence. However, guests are encouraged to bring their own, so make sure you prepare for the lack on alcohol onsite when organising your trip.
While the quiet setting of this bed and breakfast is very relaxing, it can be slightly hard to locate in the first instance. Your sat-nav might not get you there, so it's best to map out your journey before you leave. Also, once there, you'll need to drive or take a taxi to the nearest places to eat and drink.
Sometimes the Wi-Fi can be a little sluggish. It's generally fine for sending and receiving emails but if you are hoping to stream something, it might be a frustrating experience.
