Guests say that the Crystal Cyrene hotel is in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt is in a nice location close to the airport and the Red Sea. They like the private beach of the hotel and the facility of the promenade linking it to the hotel. Many guests made sure that they woke up early in the morning to catch the sunrise by the beach and said it is a magnificent sight.
The staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly. Guests say they could not have tried harder to make their stay a wonderful experience. The barman is brilliant and made guests smile with his great sense of humour. Guests also have a good word for the life guard at the pool.
Guests say that the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They enjoyed the amenities of the pool which has plenty of sun loungers and is well maintained. They also find the shops onsite to pick up souvenirs to take back home handy.
Some guests say that the rooms they were given are shabby. The bedspreads are filthy and there is no coffee making facilities or water provided in the rooms. Guests say the double beds are two singles pushed together, which rolled away from each other with even a small movement.
Many guests say that the food at the restaurant is just about edible and nothing more. They find the wine disgusting beyond belief; it is watered down and sour and has a strange herby flavour. Also drinks are served only in plastic cups.
Guests say that the staff is so short in number that they have to end up getting the cutlery and clearing the table themselves. Complaining about anything gets them nowhere.
