Negative Reviews
negative:
Repetitive food, crowded eating area
Food seemed to be a consistent issue at this hotel. Long-staying guests noted that the offerings were rather repetitive and that the quality here was inconsistent. Many also were dismayed to find that the main eating area of this resort was often crowded and that dirty plates and cutlery weren't always swiftly cleared away. Also, some of restaurants here require guests to pre-book a table. Many reported that they were unable to secure a booking, leaving a number of diners disappointed and hungry.
negative:
No lifts and dated rooms
Some guests - especially elderly visitors - were dismayed at the lack of lifts at this resort. Inside their rooms, many felt that the décor, fixtures and fittings - while perfectly serviceable - were dated.
negative:
Far from the sea
While it does overlook the Red Sea, some guests were disappointed at the distance to the beach here, which many felt was too far to be accessible. Also, a number of guests who made their way to the beachfront noted that the presence of a reef flat just offshore made swimming difficult.
