The building of today’s Agriturismo was once the residence of Vittorio Doglio, a sergeant in the Savoy army in the second half of the 1800s who went by the name “Sargentin,” or “little sergeant.” As often happens, the name given to this man was soon used in reference to the farmhouse he occupied, which today is the Agriturismo Marcarini.
