About Egmont Eco Leisure Park & Backpackers

Egmont Eco Leisure Park is set on seven picturesque acres in the heart of central New Plymouth, just a five-minute drive from Yarrow Stadium and Pukekura Park. Camp sites, dorm rooms and private accommodations share a communal kitchen and bathroom. Group accommodation is available with bunk beds and adjoining rooms in addition to male, female and mixed dorm rooms. Guests can also opt to stay in a family room with table and sofa or private double, triple, and quad rooms with a private outdoor seating area. Campsites are situated next to a peaceful creek. There are two conference rooms on site and guests have access to laundry facilities and ample parking. An outdoor field and volleyball court are also on the property. A BBQ area is provided and guests can pull up a chair at the shared dining room. Restaurants are within a five-minute drive, including the popular Treehouse Bar & Bistro. Puke Ariki museum is a quick five-minute drive from Egmont Eco Leisure Park.
