This convenient location is a six-minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the famous marina. Rooms at Inhouse Marbella are furnished and decorated in a simple style. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared with other guests. Reception is manned at all times and there is free Wi-Fi available throughout the property. There is a self-serve laundry plus, if required, babysitting services. The immediate area benefits from the presence of many restaurants, bars and shops. Many of the restaurants specialise in Andalusian cuisine, plus wider ranging international preferences. Restaurants include El Estrecho and Tanguito. SuperSol is a local supermarket . Two minutes’ walk away is La Plaza de los Naranjos, a delightful, restaurant-busy square surrounded by orange trees. It is a 40-minute drive to Malaga and to the international airport.
The daytime front desk people are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The service can slip a bit after the sun sets (!), but there’s always someone around to help if needed. There’s a welcoming theme for all visitors and those travelling alone will soon feel at home here.
Rooms are basic but, really quite clean. They include a TV, desk and wardrobe and they are a pleasing alternative to dormitory living for many travelling guests. The communal areas too are attractive, clean and welcoming. The terrace is particularly appealing. There’s a small kitchen which is useful if you’re out to cut costs and ‘self-cater’. It’s not always open and available though.
The location is a major selling point. Unlike many top flight hotels, there’s no need for car, bus or taxi transport. You can walk easily to the beach and to numerous bars and restaurants. The bus station is also very walkable and from there, you can explore other areas for a very minimal cost.
The place is very clean and the value for money is excellent. A more comfortable bed and slightly better quality bed linen would help make it really special.
The Wi-Fi is quite erratic and not something that you should rely upon.
Rooms are small, but you aren’t going to lounge around in it all day. Not in Marbella! They can be quite noisy at night due to neighbouring bars. Rooms to the rear are quieter.
