Positive Reviews
positive:
Fantastic fry up.
Each morning guests will be able to fuel themselves up for a full day out and about. The generous portions at the morning meal are wonderfully prepared, and some guests have even found that there has been too much food on their plate, for them to finish.
positive:
Soft towels.
Each room is fully prepared before one's arrival, including the softest towels one could imagine. Guests will find that the towels, as well as the bed linen provided are of top quality. There are a few different kinds of soaps also provided in each bathroom, for guest use.
positive:
Well taken care of.
From the moment one arrives at The Famous Star, guests are treated very well. The customer service is top notch, and guests will find that the members of staff go out of their way to assist them, and cannot seem to do enough for them.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Stick to the menu.
When eating at The Famous Star restaurant, guests will find that they re not allowed to go off menu. If there are any special dietary requirements, such as veganism, or someone being gluten intolerant, it is difficult for them to find a meal that's on the menu.
negative:
Expensive local ales.
The local ales on selection at the hotel bar may be on the more expensive side than one is used to. For the same price, one might find they are better off going down the road to order at a local pub, and getting two for that same price.
negative:
Small rooms.
Guests booking The Famous Star should be aware of the fact that this hotel is in The Guinness Book of World Records for being the narrowest hotel, therefore translating that the rooms are not going to be as big as one would hope.
