The Bay Horse Inn, a former coaching Inn, is located west of York on the York road, approx 20 minutes by car from York, close to the Village of Green Hammerton, between the North York moors and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. From Hammerton rail station the Inn is reached within 10 minutes by foot. Nearby attractions include Allerton Castle, Harlow Carr Gardens, Lightwater Valley, Fountains Abbey and Knarsborough. These are easily reached within 30 minutes by car. The Bay Horse Inn offers double rooms, twin rooms and a family room to its guests. The rooms are all en suite and are equipped with remote control television and complementary tea & coffee tray. The Inn's restaurant and bar provides guests with traditional home-made food for lunch and dinner. Meat products are bought from a local farm.
