The floating Good Hotel London with its social business model introduces premium hospitality with a cause to the London hotel-scene. The property is a re-designed platform, located right on the water and offering views over the River Thames and City of London. It offers direct access to Central London by subway while the O2 arena and Greenwich are just a cable-car flight away, and the Excel London Exhibition Centre and The Crystal Business hub are right there. The Good Hotel literally does good as it offers long-term unemployed locals a chance to make a fresh start in the hospitality industry. After concluding a custom-made Good Training, participants are offered a three-months contract at Good Hotel, followed by professional mediation in the local hospitality labour market. The entire process provides the participants a real opportunity to find a permanent job and re-integrate into the economy. The hotel features 148 rooms, a living room, function rooms, spacious lobby area and rooftop terrace. The interior design can be described as pure and warm industrial.
