Entire House / Apartment Tenuta Afra (Squinzano, Italy)

Nestled cozily within the seemingly endless olive groves of the splendid Salentinian countryside, the Afra country house is an oasis of tranquility. The farmhouse dates back to the 19th century and was originally the summer home of the local royalty. The structure has been completely rehabilitated in the traditional style ad now it is composed by three separate apartments, each of which has two bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen, a bathroom and an open space equipped with tables and chairs. At the ground floor there is also a large hall for the guests of the country house. A beautiful swimming pool surrounded by olive trees is at guests' disposal. The Afra country house is ideally situated for international and local access: 25km from the airport in Brindisi and 10km from the Salentinian capital city Lecce, itself a marvel of baroque architecture from the 15th and 16th centuries. Squinzano, only 1km away, has shops, restaurants, banks, cafes and other amenities. The pristine Salentinan coast with its transparent blue-green waters offers the best of two seas: the Adriatic at a mere 12km and the Ionian (including the popular resort town of Porto Cesareo) only 25km away.
