Macaw Bank Jungle Lodge is a small unique authentic jungle eco-lodge located in the District of Cayo. We offer six well-appointed rustic style cabanas, free standing and private. All units have queen size beds, hot and cold shower, electricity provided by solar, fan, screened deck with seating and in keeping with the natural jungle environment. This 50 acre well groomed property offers a sandy beach on the majestic Macal River. You will also find an abundance of flora and fauna particularly rewarding the avid ornithologists. There are approximately 5 miles of nature trails leading to sites of particular natural beauty located on the property including ancient trees, sandy riverfront beach, spectacular mountain views and more. We also feature a restaurant and bar utilizing locally produced farm fresh to table, mostly organic ingredients. Our bar features a variety of local rums, imported liquors, beers, wines and fresh fruit cocktails. We also offer volley ball, lending library, darts, and board games and gift shop with locally produced arts and crafts.
