The hotel is located in a quiet yet central area that is within walking distance Dusseldorf's main attractions. The Old Town is within 20-minutes' walk. There are also many cafes, bars and restaurants in the area including a variety of Japanese restaurants. Public transport is also easily accessible with U-bahn stations and tram lines being within five-minutes' walk of the hotel.

Guests reported that the hotel provides good value for money in terms for the standard of the accommodation and facilities provided. The rooms are simply furnished, comfortable, spacious and very clean. For guests who wish to self cater each room is equipped with a kitchenette including a fridge, microwave and stovetop. Guests also commented favourably on the complimentary buffet breakfast that offers a variety of hot and cold dishes including cold meats, cheese, cereals, pastries, tea and coffee.

The staff are multi-lingual and provide a friendly and efficient service. Staff are also available to provide assistance with tourist information and guidance on how to travel around the city.

The hotel does not have a lift service and there are many stairs to reach the upper floors. This may be an issue for elderly guests or those with mobility issues and are advised to book a room on one of the lower floors.

Some guests reported that the Wi-Fi connection is very poor and at times cannot be accessed at all.

Some guests reported that the hotel seems to have poor insulation and at times the sounds of neighbouring guests can be heard.
