The estate of La Piana lies on a hill between the medieval villages of Buggiano Castello and Colle di Buggiano. A quiet and peaceful area with a fantastic view over Montecatini terme it is situated in the heart of Tuscany, in the region called Valdinievole, 20 km from Lucca and 30 from Florence. The estate, built in the 12th century, is situated in the middle of 4 hectares of olive plantations (approx. 10 acres). After having been completely renovated in the Tuscany style the Podere today offers 3 suites and 3 double rooms with all the comforts. Air conditioning, satellite TV, WIFI, minibar, espresso machine, furnished with original antique wooden furnitures, terracotta floors and marble elements in the bathrooms. The large pool with jacuzzi with a lawn for sunbathing is beautifully situated between the olive trees; the view is breathtaking. In the house you will find a wine cellar with a large selection of Tuscany wines (for tasting). On the panorama terrace you can eat to your heart's content for breakfast in the morning and enjoy a nice glass of wine in good company in the evening. The climate in this part of Tuscany consists of a gloriously colourful spring and a warm, dry summer.
