About Britannia Hotel

Britannia Hotel first opened in 1870 and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel re-opened in April 2019 after a three year full refurbishment and is the most luxurious hotel in Norway. The hotel is centrally located in the main shopping area of Trondheim, close to all major sights. Britannia features 257 rooms, including 11 suites. All rooms feature beds by Swedish heritage bedmaker Hästens, Nespresso machines, Carrarra marble bathrooms and luxury amenities. As a hotel guest, breakfast in the historic Palm Court is included in your stay, as well as entry to Britannia Spa & Fitness. There are several food & beverage options at the hotel, with six different restaurants and bars - from fine dining in Speilsalen by Christopher Davidsen, to informal dining in Jonathan Grill or Brasserie Britannia. Make sure to check out the popular Britannia Bar for signature cocktails in the evening, or Vinbaren, the hotels wine bar featuring over 10000 bottles of wine.
