Riad Safa

Riad Safa is a Riad in one of the last authentic quarters of the Marrakech medina, a little removed from the hordes of tourists that overflow the famous Jemaa al Fna square and its surroundings, that can nevertheless be reached by foot in ten minutes. Five guest rooms around two patios, in a house with a serene, quiet Arab-Andalusian architecture, dominated by whites and wood. There are several ‘salons’ to lounge in, with a fireplace in winter and a dining room under glass pyramids. A lovely plunge-pool on the lush roof terrace, and in house wellness-facilities. The hosts speak English, French and Dutch, and they like to help you with whatever you want or need help with. They attach great importance to your feeling of wellbeing and safety, and all their endeavours are aimed to achieve just that. They have you accompanied home through the myriad of alleys at night after a 1001-night dinner in town, they organise your excursions, and book the most beautiful, delicious or hip restaurants and share their favourite addresses with you.
