About Downham Hall

Downham Hall is a historic house of landowning empire of the de Beauvoir family now owned by a young family looking to return the property to public use and for guests to experience luxury in a wonderful country setting. We are restoring 5 high end rooms in the first phase of our restoration and our feedback so far has luckily been very positive. We are set near main train stations, Wickford and Billericay yet despite being so close we are surrounded by fields and farms for all 360 degrees. The morning peak involves the odd cow mooing or a heron sqawking. We aim to provide great service for all types of traveller and have free wifi for all guests.
