Perfectly located
If it's a small town beach getaway you seek, you've come to the right place. Avila Beach spans only a few blocks but is packed with local shops, restaurants and of course, the beach. There's plenty to do within walking distance. Just keep in mind that while you can walk everywhere in town, you'll need a car to access areas outside of town.

Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit pricey
As a small boutique hotel so close to the beach, rooms might be a touch higher than you expected. But the value is something to consider as well, since the hotel offers plenty of amenities with the room rate. Plus, added services such as twice-daily housekeeping are included.
negative:
Can be noisy
You might hear some noise from the road or from other guests passing by your room. The air conditioning unit in rooms also tends to be loud, although efficient in cooling the room temperature.
negative:
Refurbishment is needed in some areas
While the overall condition of the hotel is very good, a few past guests have noted that the beds and other furnishings in their rooms needed replacement. You may also notice minor signs of wear and tear such as worn carpeting and tarnishing of bathroom fixtures.
